I was grabbing another cup of coffee and as I always do when it’s starting to get light I walk over to the only window in the kitchen which happens to be east facing. Unfortunately it’s most a blocked view due the the neighbor’s house but still you can see the south east sky which is perfect for sunrise here in the deep of winter.

Today’s sunrise was another exceptionally deep red one. We’ve had a few of those over the past few weeks and for every single one my phone has been upstairs charging so no pictures. This one was deep enough red that it almost seemed as if the horizon was red lava.
