Recently on a whim I ordered Dream Theater’s Black Clouds And Silver Linings and couldn’t be happier with that decision to take a chance. I think it’s my favorite Dream Theater album of all. Due to various reasons for the past 10 years we haven’t been really keeping up with them or any other music for that matter. Some of their other recent albums I just couldn’t get into that much. There wasn’t anything bad about them, I just wasn’t into them.

I’d love to see them play some of this stuff live. We saw them at the Tower Theater in Philly in the early 2000s and it was probably our favorite show we went to. They are just that good at playing.

The only complaint I have about this CD is I want more. The songs are so good I definitely find my self wishing it kept going.
