When the mosquitoes are being little shits we love to relax outside on the patio when it’s nice outside. Usually we have our tablet or something and an adult beverage of choice. When I used to RB2011 we had a good signal out side. After upgrading to the hAP ac the signal seemed to be a bit weaker and more finicky but the availability of 5ghz far outweighs that since there are so many things here on 2.
I’ve been wanting to get something for playing music through headphones for years. Really ever since my Creative Zen died. Back then everything was trying to be an ipod though. After that everything got to be smaller screens with microscopic text. I had gotten a Fiio m7 for Molly for Christmas (the gift she didn’t know she wanted!) It sounded good though my new headphones but the screen was too small.
MikroTik hAP AC We’d used a RB2011 for quite a while and it worked great for our needs but I wanted 5ghz wifi thinking it would help with the congestion and that’s truly the only reason we’re not using the old one still. I was so happy with the RB2011 that I looked into MikroTik again and came across the hAP AC which and the 2.4ghz and 5ghz radios. We’ve been using it for ever a year now and have zero issues.
Our old linksys router started acting up with randomly dropping connections and just plain. I did my some research because I knew there had to be something more stable than this one. It was always pretty unstable. Really most of the ones we’ve had haven’t been that great since the early linksys one. I came across a forum post about Mikrotik so I looked into it. Seemed to be not all that user friendly but I love learning new things.
