A couple of weeks ago my girlfriend discovered Nightwish which I didn’t think she’s like be cause of Tarja’s opera singing. She generally dislikes female vocals. I liked them from what I downloaded way back in the early 2000s but never got around to actually picking anything up. Also around that time I discovered After forever and again didn’t have the funds to pick it up at that time. I really liked them both alot from what I could hear in the shitty quality mp3s.
I shall reborn as a faceless one Darkly splendid world confinement in rapture I remembered hearing about Gorguts in the 90s. I probably heard them on the local college radio station that had some metal shows that play all sorts of stuff. Between that and Napster that’s how I discovered most of what I listen to now. In the Napster days I couldn’t get into death metal as much. It was more doom back then.
Lykathea Aflame’s Elvenefris is one that I’ve read about and from the little bit I could check it out online I knew I had to eventually find it. Death metal isn’t all that popular and a lot of times it’s not easy to find. I guess the best way to put it would be to call it progressive brutal death metal.
