Here we are, another week and another week of not snowing here. The models had shown a possibility a while back, but that storm stayed well to the south. We barely even got some clouds from it.

All day the radar has shown a nice precipitation shield over the Carolinas and I’ve been thinking why can’t that be a little further north? We actually have some cold enough air in place this time that we could have had decent snow, but the storm just too suppressed by it. What are you going to do?

The year of being missed to the south a couple of times, but mostly cutters to the west, is precisely how this year has been going all winter.
