I knew there as a chance but thought it would dry up as it came over the mountains like it often does when I saw the small area of snow over Pittsburgh last night. It was a very nice surprise to see a coating of snow on the ground this morning.

Let’s hope this is a sign of things to come this winter. I don’t really think it’ll happen, but here’s to hoping for at least one good storm.

I didn’t measure it, but it looked like maybe about an inch or so of snow. Enough to make the grass white and brighten things up this morning. Bring it on!
