Can't Always Go By How It Feels

I decided I’d do a Street Parking power WOD today. It called for 8 heavy back squats with 90 seconds in between and increasing weight a little each time. Warming up felt heavy as hell. 185 felt like 90%, but I knew I couldn’t have lost 100 pounds in that time. Started working at 235 adding 5 pounds each rep. All except for the sixth rep where I got a bit out of position, felt very explosive.

I’m going to have to retest to see if I can hit 315 soon. My lifetime PR was 305 and that was when I was hypothyroid. Granted, I was squatting a lot more often at that time, but that’s because cardio just wasn’t happening. I tried, but it’s like the energy just wasn’t there.
