I was reading about Redfield New York. They have had 12 feet 2 inches of lake effect snow in New York. I can not even comprehend that much snow but would love to see it. One of my dreams is to be at Tug Hill plateau during lake effect snows. That area usualy gets 25 feet of snow a year.
Looks like there's at least a potential for a snow storm Tuesday into Wednesday. We'll see what happens. The odd thing about it is that it seems like most of our snowstorms occur closer to the weekend not the middle of the week. At least that's the way I remember it growing up near Philly, Are you ready for the tv hype to begin?
This is something I haven't seen in quite a while. A website that only works in Internet Explorer. Of course it's a big company's website and rather than fix the problem they make it show an error page saying that it only supports Internet Explorer 6 or higher. I wonder why they don't care about lost customers. I wish it was as easy as just telling customer's to change their browser. I maintain my brother's website and just found out that the CSS was broken in Internet Explorer. I fixed it.
We decided to check out the ice on the river today. It was really cool on the York county side of the river. There seemed to be lots of pressure pushing the ice against the western banks. We could hear the ice squeaking and cracking as the water tried to push it. There was also plenty of broken pieces of ice on top and pushed up along the bank. There were also a few louder cracks out further. I want to go back after it rains if there's still ice. It seems to be frozen all the way across south of the 462 bridge.
Damaging computers, splattering paint on the walls and breaking glass of a newly refurbished community center wasn't enough for these asses. They had to take a puppy and cook it and kill it in the oven. I hope a rabid dog chews off their balls in the future but then again even that would be too nice.
