First snow of the year.

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

We got our first snow of the year today. It’s pretty late for that but it’s been so warm this year I was starting to believe we weren’t really going to have a winter. We didn’t get much, really only have a coating outside on the ground.

Molly and I decided to go for a walk. What I always enjoyed about the snow is the peacefulness of it. It seems to always make it quiet outside.

I wish we lived someplace near some woods that we could go for a walk in the snow at night. That would be great.

Dog Buried Alive

Wednesday, January 17th, 2007

I just read about a dog being burried alive at Dog Buried Alive. The article says that neighbors heard the whimpers at 10:45 on Saturday night and thought it was just a whiny dog. The next day while working in the yard the heard it and looked over the fence and saw the dogs nose poking out of the ground.

How the hell can anyone do this to any animal? I can’t believe the animal would’ve done something to deserve being buried alive. Some one should find the person responsible for doing this and bury them alive but not rescue them.. Just let them die that way.

I guess it’s possible they could have thought the dog was dead and buried it but how could they not hear it? Surely if the neighbors heard it the people whose yard it was buried in could have heard it.

I keep getting these offers in the mail for lower auto insurance rates. I find it pretty funny because I don’t drive and most likely never will. I have this small problem of not being able to see too far so driving wouldn’t be a good idea. This prevents me from getting a license in the state of Pennsylvania. I’ve received something from them 3 times in the past 3 months or so.

hit man email scam

Tuesday, January 16th, 2007

Last night on the news the talked about an email scam where it claims to be from the FBI London office. They say that you are the target of a hit man and need to click a link so send them personal information to help them with the investigation. The fact that they showed that must mean people have fallen for it. I can’t believe how gullible people can be.

Well the Eagles lost last night to New Orleans. It didn’t surprise me at all because Philly teams always loose in the playoffs. It was a fun surprise to even see the Eagles make it to the playoffs this year because a few games ago I didn’t expect them to even make it in.

The game was close so it was alot of fun to watch. I was surprised to see them punt when they wouldn’t get the ball back. Maybe we’ll have better luck next year.
